With cyclingculture we want to build the leading platform that connects cyclists around the world. Explore new roads, a few cities away or on the other side of the world. There is something to learn from local experts and their cycling culture. By sharing these insights we want to connect people within the cycling community when they plan their next ride.
How it started?
As cycling enthusiasts we have been planning rides with our friends for many years. There are many resources online to plan a trip, but us cyclists are a very typical breed of people, with specific requirements. Can I store my bike safely? Are facilities available to clean the bike? Where can I find the best coffee stop? We have developed travel websites in the pasts, combining this experience with our passion for cycling has resulted in the website you are looking at now.
Where are we going?
Rome wasn’t built in a day. We want to create the leading platform that connects cyclists around the world, but this can’t be done overnight. We have defined different development phases to work towards our vision:
- We build a cycling trip destination guide based on our own curated content to see if other cyclists are interested to use this
- We connect with local experts to expand and improve content and explore business models
- We build a global community to connect cyclists with local experts
We have many ideas (and dreams) on what this platform could be in the future: from organized cycling trips or local meet-ups to advanced planning tools for your cycling trip. But for now our priority is to just get started.
