These are just a few of the many cycling routes available in Tuscany, and there are options for all levels of riders.

  1. Chianti Loop: This 40-mile loop starts and finishes in Florence, taking you through the scenic Chianti wine region. It includes some moderate climbs, but the breathtaking views of vineyards and olive groves make it worth it.
  2. Strade Bianche: This route covers the famous white gravel roads of Tuscany, and it is particularly popular for its challenging terrain. It starts and finishes in Siena, covering approximately 90 miles with a mix of paved and unpaved roads.
  3. Monte Amiata: This climb is one of the most famous in Tuscany, and it is often used as a training ground for professional cyclists. The climb is 17 miles long, and it offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
  4. Montepulciano Loop: This 55-mile loop takes you through some of the most beautiful hilltop towns in Tuscany, including Pienza and Montepulciano. It includes several steep climbs, but the reward is the incredible views of the Tuscan landscape
  5. Florence to Siena: This 75-mile route starts in Florence and finishes in Siena, taking you through some of the most scenic countryside in Tuscany. It includes some challenging climbs, but the picturesque villages and rolling hills make it a must-ride for cyclists.
